Lawn Aeration Services

Proper watering and fertilizing routines can help you keep your lawn healthy and beautiful. But over time, the soil in your lawn will become compacted due to heavy concentration of Adobe Clay in our area. This prevents water and nutrients from reaching the grass roots. Aerating opens up the lawn and allows water and nutrients to enrich the soil, helping your grass grow to its full potential.

Grub control

Grubs are beetle larvae that grown in the soil, just below the surface at the root zone. They survive off eating grass roots, and can quickly destroy an entire lawn. Once the roots are eaten, it takes between 3 and 10 days for the lawn to turn brown and die. The easiest sign you may have a grub problem, is the appearance of Crows. More than 4 or 5 Crows on your lawn is them telling you you have a problem, so you better deal with it quickly.
The Crows will lift the dead, rootless grass up to get to the grubs. The more grubs, the bigger the animals coming to get them. Opposums, skunks and racoons will all ahow up eventually and completely remove all the rootless grass in huge swaths, giving the appearance they are doing all the damage. Again, its the geubs that eat the roots, killing the lawn and making it easy to lift up.

Overseeding Services

Overseeding is the planting of grass seed directly into existing turf, without tearing up the turf, or the soil. It's an easy way to fill in bare spots, improve the density of turf, establish improved grass varieties and enhance your lawn's color.

Lawn Renovation Services

Many lawns deteriorate from poor maintenance, inadequate drainage, heavy traffic, pest problems, weed invasions, or simply because the wrong grass species was planted. Partially or completely renovating a lawn requires:
  • Killing the existing turf and weeds
  • Removing the remaining turf
  • Rethinking your irrigation system
  • Preparing the soil
  • Planting the new turf using seed or sod
